Events in 2023 - what people want more of

For those of you who missed it, Eventbrite recently published their 2023 Event Trends Report, and it has some fascinating results!

One of them being that despite the global inflation, 2/3rds of attendees say they will spend the same or more on events in 2023 💰 And so should host organisations if they don't want to miss out!

An audience segment that is of particular interest, are essentialists – those who say live events are an essential or high priority. Did you know they represent a 26% and 31% of attendees in the UK and Ireland?

Not only that, these high-value fans are "willing to spend more money on events than the average attendee and, perhaps most surprisingly, are also more likely to be introverts (32%) than extroverts (26%)." 👀

So what sort of activities should you offer to attract these high-value clients?

Those are not what you might expect! You'll find the top 5 in the diagram below.

And lo and behold, networking is one of them! 💪

Now you know why we always recommend to our clients that they keep any Networking element they may have in their conference or webinar.

People don't just come to listen to others speak. 🗣️

People come to meet people. 👥
